# Bring these questions. Keep the answers.

Tick an item when you have an answer you understand. Leave it blank when you still need to ask.

Keep a paper copy for the visit. Your browser’s print menu works too.

 At the visit

Ask for the answer in plain words. Keep what is still unclear on your list.

A little room for the unanswered questions.

## The person making the decision

As of September 30, 2026, Massachusetts board policy applies to an online doctor treating a patient who is in Massachusetts. This applies even if the doctor's office is in another state.

- I know the assessing person's full name and their role.

- I have checked that person's Massachusetts licence, including for an online doctor.

- I know how the person assessing me will review my history and questions.

What that care term means Prescriber

The person with legal permission to write your prescription, such as a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

## The proposed medicine

Products undergo approval review by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA); medicines prepared to order (compounded) lack that approval, as of September 26, 2026.

- I have the exact drug name and form.

- I know whether the product has approval or is prepared to order.

- I understand the aim, the other options and the reasons for this plan.

- I have asked about possible harms and how the plan fits my health history.

What that care term means Compounding

Preparing medicine to an individual order, rather than supplying a ready-made product.

## The pharmacy and handover

Sterile means free from living germs.

To ship sterile medicines prepared to order here, a pharmacy outside Massachusetts needs a Massachusetts nonresident sterile compounding licence, as of September 30, 2026.

A business registered with FDA to make batches of sterile medicines is called an outsourcing facility.

An out-of-state outsourcing facility needs a Massachusetts nonresident outsourcing facility registration for the same shipments, as of September 30, 2026. That registration is Massachusetts permission for the business to send those medicines here.

- I have the name of the pharmacy or business making the medicine.

- If a pharmacy in another state makes my sterile medicine to order, I checked its Massachusetts nonresident sterile compounding licence.

- If an outsourcing business in another state makes my sterile medicine, I checked its Massachusetts nonresident outsourcing facility registration.

- I can reach a pharmacist with a product question.

- I have the label, storage and delivery directions in writing.

What that care term means Facility registration

The Massachusetts permission for an outsourcing business in another state to send these medicines here, as of September 30, 2026.

## Follow-up and the full bill

Request both the opening offer and the price charged later. Keep each fee visible in the quote.

- I know who answers questions after the visit.

- I know what to do if the plan needs to change.

- I know the cost of visits, medicine, tests and delivery.

- I have checked coverage rather than assuming it.

- I have the cancellation and refund terms.

What that care term means Follow-up

The next discussion about the plan, your questions and any changes.

## Reasons to pause

- I can ask the person treating me a question beyond filling in a fixed form.

- I have checked any FDA approval claim against the exact product.

- I have clear payment choices and written terms.

## Questions still open

Write down the gaps. Ask about them before turning a plan into a payment or a treatment decision.

Use these Boston briefings to consider peptide care. The site provides guidance; it does not offer clinical care or sell medicines.
