 Before deciding

## Know who will assess you

Find out which person will decide on treatment, and request their name. Then check that person's state licence record.

As of September 30, 2026, Massachusetts board policy applies to an online doctor treating a patient who is in Massachusetts. This applies even if the doctor's office is in another state.

Before an online visit, check the doctor's Massachusetts licence.

What that care term means Telehealth

A visit held over video, a phone call or online messages, with patient and clinician in separate places.

## Know what the medicine is

Peptides are short chains built from the small pieces used to make proteins.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) handles the review of medicines for approval.

As of September 26, 2026, a medicine made to order (compounded) does not have FDA approval.

Get the medicine's precise name, then ask whether the product has approval or will be prepared to order.

What that care term means Compounding

Preparing a medicine for an individual order in place of a ready-made product.

## Know what the bill includes

Ask for the ongoing total, not just the opening offer. Put visits, medicine, tests and delivery on separate lines.

Some online plans charge a membership fee apart from the medicine, as checked on September 26, 2026.

Before paying, ask what it costs to cancel and what happens if the person assessing you decides against treatment.

What that care term means Self-pay

Paying for care with your own money, outside an insurance claim.

## Take the questions into the visit

A name, a clear treatment plan, a named pharmacy and a follow-up route give you something concrete to compare. Leave space for answers you do not have yet.
